If there are questions our customers don't find answers for in our FAQ, please
direct an email to us and we
will try to answer your questions as effectively and fast as we can.
Are you a legitmate E-Store?
Anime Traffic is a registered Victorian (Australia) business,
therefore are governed by the Australian Trade Practices Act (1974) and other
relevant Victorian and Commonwealth legislations governing the conduct of a
business. Anime Traffic is a trading entity of Best International Trading Pty.
Ltd. Our Australian Business Number (ABN) is 57 092 678 245. Customers are welcomed
to confirm our registration with the Office
of Consumer Affairs Victoria or the Australian
Securities and Investment Commission.
There are items which I collect but are not available in
your catalogue. Will Anime Traffic be able to get them for me?
Anime is a genre that is growing rapidly in the western
world. As such there are many new anime and manga titles out there. What Anime
Traffic has done and is still doing, is trying to find a list of titles which
appeal to our customers. It could very well be possible for us to obtain almost
any of the titles which come out in the U.S. Please send us an email
and we will endeavour to add new titles to our ever increasing catalogue.
I notice there's no VIZ titles on your site.
Why is that?
Techinically, VIZ licensing only allows them
to sell to North American and Canadian consumers. Therefore it is
not likely that Anime Traffic will ever stock VIZ titles.
Do you have Region 1 DVDs and Hentai DVDs
for sale?
We do not stock Region 1 DVDs locally and
will only order them upon a request. You will need to email request
for further information.
Does Anime Traffic stock bootleg or fansub items?
Anime Traffic does not deal with products which have not
come from legitimate production houses and/or their recognised distribution
sources.
Why are your products priced so competitively?
We are a new company that is striking out to make a name
for itself, therefore we are trying to offer to customers, very competitive
prices. In fact, because we are so new and trying very hard to get into your
good graces, we are offering goods at almost rock bottom prices. However,
please understand that these prices will not last forever.
Anime Traffic is continuously subjected to the annoying Australian-US Dollar
exchange rate and an extremely prohibative high freight cost. Therefore,
take advantage of our low prices RIGHT NOW!
You only have Anime and Manga. Do you have
plans for any other Anime related items?
For the moment, Anime Traffic has no plans
to expand our inventory to anything beyond Anime DVDs and Manga
novels. As time goes on, we will reconsider our position.
How soon does an order get through processing and into my
hands?
Anime Traffic is still a new E-store and we are fine tuning
our operating procedures as we go along. For the time being, we will fill orders
as they arrive. Initially, Anime Traffic will receive Anime DVD shipments weekly,
usually within a day or two of actual release date. Manga graphic novels will
be received on a bi weekly basis and should be available within a day or two
of the U.S. release date. As new products arrive, we will ship them to you via
Australia Post.
What happens when I have items in my order that you have
in stock, with items that are on back order and/or pre-order status?
As a general principle, we would only ship 'completely
filled' orders. In order words, if you have items on your order which are available
for immediate shipping, with items that are on back order or are offerred as
pre-order only, then we will only ship the goods to you when the whole order
is filled. Clients wishing to break their order up, so that items available
for immediate shipping can be shipped off first, may incur additional postage
and handling charges.
How long before my back order goods arrive?
Because we operate on such low margins, we cannot
always afford to carry excessive amount of stock locally at our
facilities (my office). If goods are on back order, that means we
will need to order goods from our suppliers, who in turn needs to
search their warehouses (spread across the whole of the United States)
for the goods. Once found they need to wait for our delivery window
before shipping it to us. Anime Traffic ships goods from the United
States every two weeks. Therefore, for most products, goods will
arrive within a month, unless our suppliers are having difficulties
finding it from their warehouses, in which case it may take longer
than a month. For most main stream products, we should get goods
within two weeks.
Why don't you ship goods from your supplier every week
like most comic stores?
Unfortunately, given our current small customer base,
the United States to Australia freight cost, plus Australian Customs clearance
costs, are too prohibative to warrant a weekly shipment. Please understand that
our margins are already very small, therefore bi-weekly shipping of goods from
our supplier is currently the best we can do.
What about delivery times for Region 4 Anime
DVDs and Australia printed Manga Novels?
Because we get these items locally through
Madman, we are able to get goods to customers much faster. When
we get your purchase orders, we collate and pick them up close to
the end of the week. Once received, we will ship them out ASAP.
What are your delivery cost?
Our delivery cost are based on weight and
destination from Victoria. We use the
economy parcel service from Australia Post. Anime Traffic is also
currently subsidising the delivery cost with free
delivery for orders over $100 (Australian Delivery Address Only).
For customers purchasing goods under $100, users should proceed
to 'check out' to view delivery cost. A purchase order will not
be generated until you press the 'Submit Purchase Order' button.
Can we collect goods from Anime Traffic to avoid delivery
costs?
The answer would be no. Anime Traffic is a pure on-line
store, therefore we have less overheads and can offer you better prices. It
is also partially the reason why we subsidise delivery cost with free delivery
for orders over $100 (Australian Delivery Address Only).
What modes of payment do you accept?
Anime Traffic accepts credit card payments
from Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard. We also accept electronic funds
transfer and cheques. Please refer to our payment
policy.
I have emailed you but I have not received a reply, what
should I do now?
For now, our policy is that all email sent to Anime Traffic
should get a reply within 24 hours. If you do not get a reply within 24 hours,
it is possible the email has been lost or an email address has possibly been
incorrectly typed. Please try again.
Is the personal information I provide to you safe?
Personal information entered by you during the checkout
phase are done using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Information provided by you
to us will remain confidential and only used by Anime Traffic for business purposes
such as postal addresses for parcel delivery etc. No outside/third party will
obtain your personal information for marketing/surveying/other uses.
Is your site secured?
Anime Traffic believes strongly in secure data transmission.
To provide this to our customers, Anime Traffic employs the latest in SSL certificate
technology to ensure that when personal information is transmitted, it is securely
encrypted using best practice standards. Anime Traffic uses a super 128-Bit
SSL certificate. Credit Card information is encrypted and processed by Australia's
